Bookish: The YA For Life Book Club – September Meeting
The book for September is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak! This novel is historical fiction and deals with several life issues, such as discrimination, loss, identity, friendship, and human dignity.
Bookish: The YA For Life Book Club is a book club designed for young adults (We’re looking at YOU 20 and 30 somethings!) who love to read, learn, and discuss really great literature, especially the contemporary kind. In addition to covering the new tomes, we’re going to take a look at some old favorites, too – this time through eyes looking for LIFE issues. If you’re for life, a young adult (or young at heart!), and a reader, we’d love for you to join us! So grab your tea or coffee, find a comfy chair, and let’s start reading.

Bookish: The YA For Life Book Club meets at 8:30 PM ET/7:30 PM CT on the last Tuesday of each month on Zoom. Young adults are invited to attend. There is no cost to be part of the YA For Life Book Club, outside of the book read each month (most books selected can be borrowed from your local library). Discussion questions for the book club are emailed weekly on Tuesdays, as well as posted in the Bookish Facebook group.
